InterpretersLive! For Work

Use InterpretersLive! at your workplace

Many Deaf employees across the UK rely on InterpretersLive! to communicate with their managers, colleagues, and clients, quickly and instantly.

Whether working alone, or communicating in meetings, they can easily access the video interpreting service from their desktop, tablet or personal phone.

InterpretersLive! often does not come at a cost to the employer and can be funded as a ‘reasonable adjustment’ under the Government Access to Work scheme. Contact us today to find out more about our services and Access to Work.

We can provide face to face interpreters!

InterpretersLive! is provided by Sign Solutions, an interpreting agency offering a wide range of communication support for Deaf people.

Click to visit the Sign Solutions website to find out about the types of communication support available for your Deaf employee or, if they have already informed you what they need, click to contact our team straight away.

Supporting and enabling Deaf employees to access employment opportunities and providing them with equal opportunities at work is the responsibility of every organisation under the Equalities Act 2010.

Sign Solutions can offer  use of our video and in-person BSL Interpreters to ensure their Deaf employees can participate, be independent and be included in day-to-day work environments. This may be to:

  • Make phone calls when they need to

  • Participate in meetings and training

  • Engage fully with their clients and colleagues.

Access to Work will usually fund any necessary ‘reasonable adjustments’, including the provision of in-person and video remote Interpreters and other types of communication support. We can also support organisations in making their employee helplines accessible to their Deaf employees by adding a video relay service link on their intranet pages.
